Job summary

ExcelliSearch, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Civil Project Manager to run highway, road, and bridge work in Virginia. You will own schedule, budget, and project margins with direct access to senior leadership and a self-perform team. The role emphasizes ownership, safety, and delivering complex infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has 5–10+ years in heavy civil PM, DOT experience, and a strong background in cost control and scheduling. Relocation support is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years managing heavy/highway, road, or bridge projects.
• Experience running medium-to-large heavy civil projects as PM.
• Strong DOT/VDOT roadway, bridge, grading, drainage, paving background.
• Proficient cost control, schedule and change-order management.
• Ability to manage owners, agencies, subcontractors, vendors and teams.
• OSHA 30 preferred and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead heavy highway, road and bridge projects from planning to closeout.
• Own schedule, budget, cost control, forecasting, and change orders.
• Serve as primary contact for owners, agencies, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Lead field supervision and project engineers; set clear roles.
• Identify risks early and drive timely solutions; maintain safety and quality.
