Job summary

Job Juncture is seeking a seasoned Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead highway, road, and bridge programs in Virginia—from planning through closeout. You’ll own the schedule, budget, risk management, and client relationships on self-perform projects with a backbone of DOT experience.

The role offers real project ownership, no micro-management, and a strong compensation package including bonus potential and relocation support for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years managing heavy/highway projects.
• Experience leading medium-to-large heavy civil projects as PM.
• Strong DOT/VDOT, roadway, grading, drainage, paving, or utility background.
• Proven cost control, scheduling, contract, and change-order experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage heavy highway, road, bridge, and civil infrastructure projects from plan through closeout.
• Own schedule, budget, cost control, forecasting, change orders, documentation, and closeout.
• Protect projected margins and submit accurate, timely cost and income projections.
• Serve as main project contact for owners, agencies, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Lead field supervision and project engineering teams; set clear roles and responsibilities.
• Identify project risks early and drive solutions before they become bigger issues.
