Job summary

The University of Houston seeks a Lead Instructor for the UH Integrative Health and Well-being Coaching Certificate Program. This part-time role tasks you with instructional leadership, curriculum development, and mentoring across cohorts, ensuring NBHWC alignment and consistent student learning experiences.

You will liaise with the Program Director, develop materials, and coordinate synchronous/asynchronous sessions while upholding professional, ethical, and inclusive coaching practices.

Qualifications

• NBC-HWC credential required and maintained throughout appointment.
• Ability to teach adults in a collaborative learning environment.
• Experience mentoring, supervising, or assessing coaching practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead curriculum development, delivery, and assessment for the UH IHWC program.
• Serve as primary instructor and liaison between faculty and program director.
• Coordinate mentoring, feedback, and scoring using program rubrics.
• Ensure NBHWC standards are reflected in instruction and materials.
