Job summary

The Lead Instructor for the UH Integrative Health and Well-being Coaching Certificate Program will lead curriculum development, deliver key synchronous sessions, and mentor faculty and students. Working closely with the Program Director, this role ensures NBHWC standards are met and maintained across modules and activities.

The position emphasizes professional, ethical, inclusive coaching practices and seamless coordination between faculty and program leadership to deliver high-quality training.

Qualifications

• NBC-HWC credential must be maintained throughout the appointment.
• Ability to teach and facilitate adult learners in an engaging environment.
• Experience providing coaching feedback, mentoring, supervision, or assessment.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, facilitation, and written/verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Program Director on curriculum planning, development, review, revision and delivery.
• Serve as the primary instructor for synchronous and asynchronous sessions.
• Develop instructional materials, activities, demonstrations and handouts.
• Support curriculum reviews and LMS alignment with assessments and content.
• Coordinate faculty participation and promote consistency across instructors.
