Datavant is a healthcare data collaboration platform seeking a detail-oriented associate to process all releases of information (ROI) and medical record requests in a timely and compliant manner. You will safeguard patient privacy, access control, and HIPAA-aligned procedures while supporting daily administrative duties and high-volume workflows. The role is onsite in Valparaiso, IN, with standard hours 7:30 a.m.

– 4:00 p.m. CST, Monday through Friday.

Formación

• Detail and quality oriented as it relates to accurate and compliant information for medical records.
• Strong data entry skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills in the English language.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 1-year Health Information related experience.

Responsabilidades

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with Company and Facility policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and security with all privileged information.
• Respond to requests for patient records, both within the facility and by external sources, retrieving them and transmitting them appropriately.
• Answering inbound/outbound calls.
• May assist with patient walk-ins.
• May assist with administrative duties such as handling faxes, opening mail, and data entry.
• Assist with training associates in the HIS positions.
• Mentor HIS staff for further professional development.
• Lead training sessions for timely staff development.
