Job summary

Datavant is hiring for an entry level ROI processor in Miami, FL. The role focuses on processing medical records requests accurately and efficiently, while safeguarding patient privacy under HIPAA and company policies.

You will handle inbound/outbound calls, assist with mail and fax requests, and ensure records are properly released to authorized individuals. The position requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn HIPAA compliance and ROI workflows.

Qualifications

• Familiar with HIPAA and patient privacy rules.
• Knowledge of ROI processes and release of information workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Teams for document handling and communication.
• Comfortable with technology and office equipment used in a clinical information setting.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process patient information requests in line with policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all privileged information.
• Maintain knowledge of facility software and documentation procedures.
• Follow Code of Conduct and policies of company and facility.
• Inform manager of work, site difficulties, or fluctuating volumes.
• Assist with additional duties as needed and respond to changing priorities.
• Respond to patient records requests, internal and external, accurately and promptly.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls and assist with patient walk-ins as needed.
