Job summary

Datavant is a leading data collaboration platform focused on healthcare. This role processes patient health information requests, maintains confidentiality, and manages medical records with HIPAA compliance.

You will prepare charts, generate digital copies, and respond to internal and external requests in a fast-paced setting. The position requires a High School Diploma and at least 1 year Health Information experience, with strong data entry skills and professional English communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year Health Information related experience preferred.
• Professional verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with policies.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Respond to requests for patient records from facilities and external sources.
• Prepare new patient charts and assemble medical records in standard order.
• Create digital images of paperwork for electronic medical records.
• Ensure records are accurate, complete and HIPAA compliant.
