Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS) Grand Junction Regional Center is seeking a Health Care Technician III to ensure personal outcomes for individuals in day programs and community activities. You will directly support residents, coordinate with residential staff, manage work areas, and orient new staff while ensuring program compliance.

The role emphasizes hands-on programming, collaboration with therapists, and adherence to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years of experience in an occupational field related to the work.

Responsabilités

• Provide direct hands-on programming to individuals in the day program area.
• Act as coordinator for residential staff and up to 15 people in a day program or work setting.
• Manage operation of a primary work area or job site and arrange equipment/supplies.
• Orient new staff to the work area and individual programs.
• Identify training needs for staff and individuals receiving services.
• Monitor staff performance and provide feedback on expectations.
• Assist therapists with specialized evaluations as required.
