Hilltop Community Resources Inc. in Grand Junction, CO seeks Care Specialist to support adults with traumatic brain injuries in the Life Adjustment Program. This full-time role emphasizes compassionate, professional care and teamwork within a values-driven culture.

You will provide personal care, monitor residents, and assist with daily living tasks while adhering to Care Plans. The position includes overnight shifts and opportunities for growth within a supportive workplace.

Competenze

• One year of related experience or two years of work experience required.
• Minimum 18 years of age required (21 for overnight driving).
• CPR/First Aid recommended; QMAP certification preferred or required for overnight positions.
• Colorado driver’s license is preferred or required for overnight roles.

Mansioni

• Provide direct, unskilled personal care and hygiene assistance per Care Plans, including bathing, oral care, incontinence care, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with meals, monitor residents, and provide support and cueing as needed.
• Communicate residents’ and staff needs to ensure good customer service and wellbeing.
• Complete required documentation promptly, accurately, and legibly.
• Provide basic behavior management interventions for brain-injured individuals.
• Maintain professional boundaries with residents, staff, and external agencies.
• Overnight shifts may require driving residents using handicapped-accessible vehicles.
• Assist with housekeeping to maintain cleanliness of resident apartments and grounds.
• Attend team meetings and trainings as scheduled.

Formazione

CPR Certificate/First Aid Certificate

Qualified Medication Administration Personnel (QMAP) Certification

Hilltop’s Transportation Certification (preferred)
