Job summary

Axon seeks an experienced Program Manager to lead hardware development of next-generation TASER products. You will manage 4-5 workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams across electrical, mechanical, software, firmware, and manufacturing, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery from concept to launch.

Based in Scottsdale, AZ, this onsite role reports to the Director of Engineering Program Management; travel to vendors and contract manufacturers may be required as schedules evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, business, or equivalent work experience.
• Delivered a hardware product with software as part of it; proven schedule and budget creation/tracking.
• Experience building processes, project management, and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Manage a program with 4-5 distinct workstreams that must converge to the launch schedule.
• Drive the development of a new Taser product, coordinating cross-functional teams to meet schedule, budget, cost, and reliability.
• Lead program reviews and updates to senior management and executives.
• Engage with Product Management to frame product trade-offs and select optimal solutions.
• Travel to the contract manufacturer and/or other vendors as schedules require.
