Job summary

Axon is seeking a hands-on hardware engineer to design, develop, and verify embedded electronics for TASER products. You will own circuits from concept through production, collaborating with firmware, manufacturing, and quality teams.

The role emphasizes robust HV power supply design, mixed-signal electronics, EMC/ESD considerations, and tight integration with PCB layouts and test methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar required.
• 3+ years of professional electronics design experience in embedded systems.
• Experience across schematic design, PCB layout, bring-up, debug, verification, production release.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, and verify circuit designs for products including TASER devices and accessories.
• Design embedded mixed-signal circuitry with high-voltage power supply, microcontrollers, USB/UART/SPI/I2C interfaces.
• Collaborate with PCB designers to ensure signal integrity, power integrity, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Support electronics development through product lifecycle from concept to production.
