Job summary

A2e-Technologies is seeking a Lead Hardware Engineer for a long-term contract or permanent role. The position covers high-speed digital design, DDR, FPGAs, networking, and space-grade verification. Multiple locations are listed (San Diego, Irvine, Los Angeles, Virginia) with ASAP start.

US Citizens or Green Card holders only. You will bring up boards, perform tests, and report results using Verilog/VHDL, Vivado/Quartus, and high-end test equipment in a professional lab setting.

Qualifications

• Experience designing high-speed boards (>1GHz) with DDR, FPGAs, Networking.
• Experience with Altium schematic capture.
• EMC mitigation techniques and testing experience.
• Signal Integrity and Power Integrity simulations experience.
• Verilog or VHDL/SystemVerilog proficiency and FPGA tooling.

Responsibilities

• Bring up circuit boards in a professional lab environment.
• Perform test execution, create test plans and report results.
• Debug and identify root causes with detailed analysis.
• Apply SI/PI methodologies and space-industry verification standards.
