Cognizant is seeking a Lead Hardware Design Engineer with strong experience in mixed-signal hardware, FPGA/microcontrollers, and analog/digital electronics. The role leads hardware development from architecture through production, working closely with firmware, mechanical, manufacturing, and test teams.

The successful candidate will drive design reviews, simulations, and verification to ensure robust, safe hardware solutions for complex products across industries.

Formación

• 10+ years of hardware design and development experience.
• Strong expertise in analog and digital circuit design.
• Experience with FPGA, microprocessors, and microcontrollers.
• Hands-on experience with mixed-signal systems and sensor interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of power supplies, signal conditioning, ADC/DAC, and filters.
• Experience with PCB design/review using Altium.
• Knowledge of communication protocols: SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, USB, Ethernet.
• Experience with signal integrity (SI) and power integrity (PI) analysis.
• Familiarity with SPICE/PSPICE simulations and hardware verification.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Experience with EMI/EMC, environmental testing, DFMEA, and reliability analysis.
