Job summary

Norman Regional Health System seeks a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will assess patients, create customized recovery plans, and oversee orthotic fabrication and education.

You will work with hand surgeons and a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans, manage documentation, and mentor students and staff in upper-extremity therapies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT/OTD preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition and establish plan of care for hand/upper-extremity rehab.
• Provide therapeutic interventions tailored to patient age and disability.
• Document delivery of Occupational Therapy services.
• Direct supervision of OT Assistants, students, and support staff.
• Design, fabricate, fit, and educate on custom orthoses and splints.
• Treat post-surgical and injury rehabilitation cases including scar management and return-to-work rehab.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other healthcare professionals.
