Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to provide specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder. You will evaluate patients, create recovery plans, and supervise OT staff while collaborating with hand surgeons and other clinicians.

The role emphasizes orthotic fabrication, post-surgical rehab, and patient education, with a strong focus on outcome-driven therapy and team care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or OT Doctorate preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited OT program.
• 3+ years of upper-extremity rehab and outpatient therapy.
• Current state PT or OT license.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial and ongoing assessments; establish plan of care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder.
• Document OT services delivery.
• Directs and supervises OT assistants and students.
• Orthotic/splint design, fabrication, and fitting.
• Post-surgical and injury rehab; scar management and return-to-work.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other clinicians.
