NORTH AMERICAN WAX COMPANY LLC is seeking a Guest Service Associate (GSA) in Plainfield, IL. The GSA will be responsible for creating a memorable guest experience, selling wax passes, and maintaining the center's cleanliness.

A high school diploma or GED along with relevant experience is required. This position pays between $15.50 and $17.00 per hour, and participation in community events is encouraged.

Job description

The role of a Guest Service Associate (GSA) is the first and last impression of the guest's entire experience, so it is important to always maintain a cheerful and positive attitude. A Guest Service Associate works with like-minded individuals who share in their excitement and passion for Revealing Beautiful Skin. A GSA shapes the future of EWC and supports guests in feeling gorgeous, radiant, and confident in their own skin. Please note that this is a sales position.

Salary Range: $15.50 – $17.00 per hour

Duties and Responsibilities

• Selling wax passes.
• Opening and closing procedures of the center.
• Managing the flow of guests in and out of the center and assisting with questions as needed.
• Handling the Reservation Book regarding the guest's requests and associate's availability.
• Educating all guests on European Wax Center's product portfolio, Strut 365™ and demonstrating products on guests, and benefits and savings of Wax Passes and consistency with waxing.
• Maintaining the front of the center, including restocking product shelves and refilling brochure and card holders.
• Educating guests on current in-center promotions.
• Checking their schedule on a weekly basis.
• Arriving to work on time wearing the appropriate dress code and name tag.
• Following all corporate policies and procedures.
• Participating in community events and street team marketing when requested.
• Participating in all weekly Strut Sessions (If a Strut Session is on a day the associate is not scheduled, the associate will attend a minimum of one Strut Session per month).
• Participating on Strut Bloomfire by actively commenting on questions and posts.
• Creating a memorable guest experience by utilizing EWC terminology and tailoring the scripts and standard responses while working in the location.
• Maintaining and exceeding center and individual goals.
• Maintaining center cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned.
