PrimeFlight Aviation Services seeks a Lead GSE Technician to oversee maintenance and repair of ground support equipment at the Irvine location. You will mentor technicians, coordinate daily work assignments, and ensure all equipment meets safety regulations and manufacturer specifications.

You will lead diagnostics, manage inventory of parts, and collaborate with other departments to minimize downtime and maximize operational efficiency. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years in GSE maintenance and repair with leadership experience.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge.
• Must be able to train and mentor staff in maintenance techniques.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily operations of the GSE maintenance team.
• Provide technical guidance to technicians in repair and maintenance.
• Ensure maintenance per industry standards and safety regulations.
• Plan and schedule routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
• Diagnose complex equipment malfunctions and oversee troubleshooting.
• Monitor performance and coach team members.
• Develop maintenance procedures to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with other departments for equipment needs.
• Manage parts and supplies inventory.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Stay informed on GSE advancements and technologies.
• Participate in budget planning and cost control.
• Respond to emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Ensure environmental standards compliance.
• Lead safety meetings and training sessions.
• Demonstrate PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
