Job summary

PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc. is seeking a Lead GSE Technician in Washington, DC to oversee maintenance of ground support equipment used in airport operations. You will lead a team, diagnose complex issues, and ensure repairs meet safety and manufacturer specifications.

Role requires 2+ years in GSE maintenance with a leadership track, strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic knowledge, and the ability to train staff while managing parts inventory and downtime. Shift flexibility is expected.

Qualifications

• 2 years of proven experience in ground support equipment maintenance and repair with a leadership track record.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in GSE.
• Ability to train and mentor staff and enforce safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily GSE maintenance operations and coordinate the team.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship in repair and inspection.
• Plan routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs per safety standards.
• Manage inventory of parts and track maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
