Job summary

Rockingham County, NH seeks a Lead Building & Grounds Technician to oversee the daily operations of the Buildings & Grounds Division. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise the team to maintain county facilities, parking lots, landscaping, and related infrastructure.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED required.
• Formal training or equivalent from vocational, technical school preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years demonstrated experience in building and grounds maintenance and repair.
• Two (2) years of experience as a supervisor or team leader; or
• An equivalent combination of education, work, and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Buildings & Grounds Division.
• Supervise Buildings & Grounds personnel and coordinate seasonal projects.
• Manage snow removal operations and weather-related responses.
• Coordinate purchasing recommendations and maintain inventories.
• Ensure county property is maintained safely, functionally, and environmentally responsibly.
