Axiom Space is seeking a bold and dynamic Grounding and Bonding Engineer Principal in Houston to own the electrical reference architecture for our station. You will define isolation criteria, bonding classes, and verification approaches, coordinating with power systems and software teams to ensure robust ground reference networks for multiple domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Demonstrated command of grounding architecture: single point, multipoint, and hybrid references.
• Experience with bonding classes, test potential selection, and bond impedance.
• Ability to author plans, SOWs, and verification procedures.

Responsibilities

• Own the grounding and bonding plan and requirements.
• Define and maintain reference architecture and domain boundaries.
• Own isolation requirements, fault behavior, and monitoring allocations.
• Flow requirements to procurement and review supplier design/test data.
• Mentor junior engineers and communicate progress to stakeholders.
