Job summary

Stoa Group is seeking a Superintendent to lead field execution for The Waters at Covington, a 336-unit ground-up multifamily community in Covington, LA. You will own core building phases, coordinating MEP, inspections, and subcontractors, driving safe, on-schedule work with the project team.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in multifamily, commercial, or residential construction.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing active field operations.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, open wall sequencing, inspections, and jobsite execution.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, submittals, and scopes of work.
• Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and jobsite safety practices.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred.
• Ability to hold subcontractors accountable while maintaining productive working relationships.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Promote and enforce safe work practices on all project phases.
• Own quality throughout MEP, open wall, insulation, stairs, and railing phases.
• Coordinate subcontractors to maintain production flow and sequencing.
• Maintain accurate field documentation and progress tracking in Procore.
• Communicate project status, challenges, and solutions with field and management teams.
