Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Distinguished Engineer to define the future of GPU memory, interconnects, and architectural simulation. You will set strategy for next‑generation memory and NoC performance, guide AI‑assisted model generation, and influence multi‑year architectural decisions across teams.

Qualifications

  • Deep expertise in GPU architecture, memory hierarchies, and on‑chip interconnect design.
  • Strong performance modeling experience, scalable simulation infrastructure, and validation.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and Python, with scripting languages.
  • Experience setting technical direction for complex architecture, modeling, or simulation systems.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • PhD or equivalent research experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategy for next‑gen GPU memory and NoC performance models.
  • Lead use of simulation, emulation, workload analysis, and AI‑assisted model generation.
  • Identify bottlenecks and opportunities across memory systems and interconnects.
  • Translate insights into architecture recommendations and modeling priorities.
  • Establish modeling standards, validation approaches, and common workloads.
  • Collaborate with architecture, memory, interconnect, software, and verification teams.
  • Mentor senior engineers and influence long‑term GPU architecture direction.
