Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking architects and simulation experts to join its Architecture Modeling group to advance functional modeling and simulation platforms for future GPU generations. You will work with world-class teams on modeling GPU architecture, develop tests and tooling, and help drive improvements across platforms.

The role emphasizes C++, Python, and ML frameworks; proficiency in SystemC/TLM and modern AI tooling will be valued.

Qualifications

BS/MS/PhD or equivalent with 5+ years in related areas.
Proficient in C++, C and Python/Perl scripting.
Background in Computer Architecture and modeling (SystemC & TLM).
Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, and LangChain
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills; track record of issue closure
Effective communication; ability to work in distributed teams
Strong collaboration with design and engineering teams

Responsibilities

Model GPU architecture, baseboard components, and related features.
Collaborate across modeling teams to document, design, develop tools to analyze and simulate, validate and verify models.
Familiarize with functional and performance simulation models across Nvidia; extend modeling features.
Develop tests, test plans, and testing infrastructure for new architectures/features.
Guide improvements to the simulation platform and expand resources for future GPUs.
Develop or use AI to assist with day-to-day tasks.
