Job summary

The Valley Club in Sun Valley, Idaho, is seeking a Head Golf Professional to lead our private, 27-hole operation with a high-touch hospitality focus. You will oversee daily golf operations, member services, practice facilities, tournament administration, and staff development to deliver an unparalleled golf experience for Members and guests.

Ideal candidates hold PGA Class A or LPGA status, possess a bachelor’s degree, and have private club experience.

Qualifications

PGA Class A Member or LPGA member in good standing.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combined education and industry experience.
Experience: private club operations leadership at a premier facility.
Proficient with Golf Genius tournament software, POS/inventory systems (Northstar), and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Provide visible, hands-on leadership to deliver a high-touch golf experience for Members and guests.
Oversee tee sheet management, pace of play, and practice facility operations.
Manage tournaments using Golf Genius for setup and scoring.
Enforce rules, conduct clinics, and ensure service standards across touchpoints.
Lead, mentor, and develop a dedicated team of staff and professionals.
