Job summary

The Valley Club in Sun Valley, Idaho seeks a Head Golf Professional to lead daily golf operations, member services, and event execution. You will oversee 27 holes, practice facilities, and inventory control, while upholding high hospitality standards across all touchpoints for Members and guests.

The ideal candidate has PGA Class A status or LPGA membership, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and a proven track record in premier private clubs.

Qualifications

• PGA Class A or LPGA member in good standing.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combined education and industry experience.
• Experience in private club operations at premier facilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, hands-on leadership to deliver a high-touch golf experience.
• Oversee tee sheet management, pace of play, and practice facility operations.
• Manage and execute a comprehensive tournament calendar using Golf Genius.
• Enforce USGA rules, conduct clinics, and educate members.
• Lead staff, mentor junior team members, and maintain service standards.
• Collaborate with the Golf Course Superintendent on course setup and maintenance.
• Coordinate with Retail/Merchandising and Instruction programs for engagement.
