Job summary

The Madison Club, located outside La Quinta, California, is seeking a Lead Teaching Professional to join the Golf Operations Department. You will deliver personalized golf instruction through individual lessons, group clinics, and player development programs, engaging members, guests, and junior golfers with exceptional service and hospitality.

Work alongside the golf team to develop seasonal programs, clinics, and events, maintaining a safe, organized instructional space while leveraging video

Qualifications

• Experience providing golf instruction in private clubs, resorts, or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of golf swing mechanics, short-game, putting, and course management.
• Experience working with golfers of all ages and skill levels.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to establish trust and deliver personalized instructional experiences.
• Familiarity with golf instructional technology and performance analysis tools preferred.
• CPR/first aid or related safety certifications preferred.
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and peak seasons as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and group golf instruction tailored to each student’s goals and needs.
• Develop and implement player development programs for adults and juniors.
• Conduct clinics, playing lessons, and specialized training sessions.
• Evaluate swings and performance using video analysis and launch-monitor data.
• Track progress and adjust development plans for long-term improvement.
• Foster professional relationships with members, guests, and families through personalized service.
• Plan seasonal instructional programs and junior golf activities.
• Collaborate with golf staff to expand instructional offerings and events.
