Job summary

American Golf Corporation seeks a Golf Course Superintendent to manage the maintenance and improvement of greens, trees, landscaping, and course assets. You will work with the maintenance team to ensure high-quality playing conditions and adherence to environmental regulations.

You will oversee budget development, staff supervision, and safety protocols while coordinating with managers, members, and guests on course status and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• GCSAA Certification preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Two-year degree in turf management, agronomy, chemical applications, soils, fertilization, or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain golf course in proper playing condition per company standards.
• Supervise course construction projects and turf/plant care.
• Develop and propose annual maintenance plan and budget; implement approved plan.
• Oversee irrigation scheduling, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Lead a high-performance team and manage staff scheduling and development.
• Ensure safety compliance and maintain records for maintenance activities.
