Job summary

American Golf Corporation operates premier golf courses and hospitality venues, seeking a Golf Course Superintendent to lead maintenance, course care, and safety standards across the property. You will supervise greens, tees, fairways, irrigation, and equipment, ensuring compliance with environmental regs and company policies.

You will recruit and train staff, plan annual maintenance budgets, and communicate with managers, members, and guests about course conditions and safety.

Qualifications

• GCSAA Certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Two-year degree in turf management, agronomy, chemical applications, soils, fertilization, or related field.
• Three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the golf course in proper playing condition according to company standards.
• Supervise course construction projects and oversee planting and care of turf, plants, shrubs, and trees.
• Develop and implement the annual maintenance plan and budget; ensure adherence to the plan.
• Supervise maintenance of greens, fairways, tees, sand traps, water features, roughs, and related facilities.
• Recruit, train, and manage staff; ensure safety and high performance.
