Job summary

American Golf Corporation seeks a Foreman to lead the daily maintenance and presentation of our golf course in Glendale, CA. You will oversee grounds operations, balance hands-on work with team leadership, and support agronomic programs under the Superintendent and General Manager.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and high standards for course conditions, with potential for supervisory duties and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
State pesticide license preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain course accessibility, playability, and visual standards using power and hand tools.
Perform weed abatement, pest control, irrigation, fertilization, and drainage activities.
Maintain cup changes, tee marker placement, towel rotation, trash removal, and equipment upkeep.
Assist with irrigation system operation and monitoring for turf health.
Operate and inspect mowers, tractors, and related equipment per safety policies.
Communicate equipment or maintenance issues to management promptly.
Provide direction and oversight to team during shifts or projects.
May serve as acting or weekend supervisor as needed.
Promote consistency, efficiency, and accountability across maintenance operations.
Perform manual labor to support daily operations and special projects.
