Job summary

Navy Region Mid-Atlantic Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) seeks a seasoned golf operations supervisor to manage daily course, pro shop, and event activities at a Veterans Affairs facility. You will guide staff, ensure service excellence, and coordinate tournaments and clubs throughout the year.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations, ensuring a high quality experience for patrons and members.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in golf course operation including maintenance and services.
• Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience.
• PGA membership strongly preferred; Class A status within one year is expected.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all golf program areas to maximize patron interest and utilization.
• Supervise pro shop operations including merchandise display and sales.
• Plan and oversee golf tournaments, leagues and events with internal and external partners.
• Prepare annual operating budgets and source competitive prices for supplies and equipment.
• Ensure safety, health, and environmental compliance and proper use of protective equipment.
• Direct staff supervision, scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
