Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) at Naval Station Mayport, FL, seeks an experienced mechanic to repair and maintain golf course equipment and vehicles. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of machinery used on the Windy Harbor Golf Course.

Qualifications

• Must have strong mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot complex equipment.
• Two years of documented experience as a mechanic is required.
• Ability to plan work and follow complex repair manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and overhauls on golf course equipment and vehicles.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical systems on fleet assets.
• Maintain fuel, parts, and tool inventories and document consumption.
• Train staff on safe operation and basic repairs of tools and equipment.
• Assist with facility maintenance including irrigation and buildings at the golf course.
