Job summary

Pacific University is seeking a Database Administrator (Lead for Gifts & Data Operations) to manage gift/pledge records, receipts, and financial reconciliation in the Advancement Operations team. This role ensures IRS/state compliance and accurate data across donor platforms.

The position requires experience with complex databases, wealth screening data, and reporting. A hybrid on-site/remote schedule is supported, with occasional travel to campus locations.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience in system administration and/or records management using a complex primary database and related systems.
• Experience with charitable giving financial records is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process gifts and pledges and generate receipts and acknowledgments.
• Perform data imports, audits, and reconciliations in donor management systems.
• Maintain scholarship recipient data and donor relationship mapping.
• Support IRS and state compliance reporting and Form 990 data as needed.
