Job summary

Langan provides expert geotechnical engineering and environmental services from Milwaukee, WI. We seek a Project Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager to lead teams, perform geotechnical analyses, and manage projects with client interfaces.

The role includes staff supervision, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunity to work on both small-scale and large-scale geotechnical projects within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering is required.
• Master's degree with Geotechnical emphasis is preferred.
• Professional Engineer licensure is required or actively pursued.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses and design of pile elements and underpinning systems.
• Prepare technical documents, proposals, reports, and construction-related correspondence.
• Supervise field investigations and earthwork/foundation construction activities.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets and schedules.
• Develop task and project budgets and track progress.
• Prepare progress reports, change orders, and project billings.
• Coordinate with clients and regulatory agencies; mentor staff.
