Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer/Project Manager to join its collaborative team in Milwaukee WI. This role provides geotechnical engineering expertise through analysis and design, and supports management of projects, supervision of staff engineers, and client interfacing.

You will have the opportunity to partner cross-functionally on both small-scale and large-scale geotechnical projects, lead field investigations, and manage budgets, schedules, and project deliverables while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; Master’s with Geotechnical emphasis preferred.
• Professional Engineer licensure.
• 6+ years of related Geotechnical experience; 3+ years field experience with geotechnical investigations and construction observation.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and client relations.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses, design pile elements, and oversee inspections.
• Prepare technical documents, proposals, reports, and related correspondence.
• Supervise field investigations and earthwork and foundation construction activities.
• Manage multiple projects within budgets and schedules; prepare progress reports and invoices.
• Perform other duties as requested.
