Job summary
Langan is seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager in Nashville, TN to lead geotechnical analyses, design efforts, and project management while mentoring staff and coordinating with clients. You will oversee field investigations, prepare reports, and ensure projects meet budgets and schedules.
The ideal candidate will hold a Civil/Geotechnical Engineering degree, PE licensure, 8+ years of geotechnical experience, and strong communication skills to foster client relationships and drive project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; PE licensure preferred.
- 8+ years of related geotechnical experience with project oversight.
- Experience drafting reports, specs, and recommendations; client coordination.
- Strong knowledge of codes and regulatory requirements; field experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead complex geotechnical analyses, pile design, and underpinning systems.
- Manage proposals, reports, construction documents, and client communications.
- Supervise field investigations and earthwork/foundation activities.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, progress reports, and change orders.
- Mentor staff and coordinate cross‑functional project teams.
