Job summary

Langan is seeking a Project Geotechnical Engineer / Project Manager to join its collaborative team in Denver, CO. This role provides geotechnical analysis and design, and supports management of projects, supervision of staff engineers, and client interfacing.

You will partner cross-functionally on both small- and large-scale geotechnical projects. The position requires a Civil or Geotechnical Engineering degree, PE licensure, 6+ years of geotechnical experience, and strong written, verbal, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and a PE license.
• 6+ years of related geotechnical experience, including field work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, write reports, and supervise staff.
• Strong communication skills and client-facing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex analyses and design of pile elements and underpinning systems.
• Prepare technical documents, proposals, reports, and construction documents.
• Supervise field investigations and earthwork and foundation work.
• Manage projects within budgets and schedules, and coordinate billing and reporting.
• Collaborate with staff, clients, and regulatory agencies.
