Job summary
Blue Moon Metals is seeking a Lead Geology Consultant to provide senior geological expertise across mine operations, resource development, and special projects. You will lead the underground Mine Geology function, ensuring accurate grade control, data collection, and production reconciliation to support safe, efficient operations.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Geological Engineering, or a related discipline is required; postgraduate qualifications are assets.
- 10+ years of progressive geological experience, preferably underground mining.
- Experience in mine geology, grade control, modelling, production reconciliation, and resource development.
- Experience leading geological teams in an operating mine environment.
- Strong experience with underground mapping, sampling, QA/QC, and diamond drilling programs.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the underground Mine Geology function to meet production and business objectives.
- Provide geological expertise to mine planning, production, engineering, exploration, and project development.
- Monitor grade control to optimize ore extraction and minimize dilution.
- Oversee underground mapping, sampling, QA/QC, and data collection.
- Develop and improve grade control, mapping, sampling, and QA/QC programs.
