Job summary

General Motors is seeking a Manufacturing Systems Integration Engineer to lead GA manufacturing systems for new vehicle programs. You will drive strategy, PFES maintenance, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment between design, manufacturing processes, facility strategy, and program timing.

The role requires strong technical leadership, manufacturing expertise, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizations.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree; extensive GA manufacturing experience
• Experience with process development, equipment design, integration, and vehicle launch
• Experience leading complex vehicle program integration efforts
• Strong understanding of manufacturing systems, automation, tooling, and assembly processes
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and resolve issues
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead development, integration, and execution of GA manufacturing systems for new vehicle programs from pre-DSI through CSO.
• Develop and communicate program-specific manufacturing strategies aligning product, process, timing, and investment.
• Maintain Plan for Every Site (PFES) and respond to MPS/MS with data-driven recommendations.
• Lead timing development and establish integration milestones for successful execution.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, controls, and launch teams to align program decisions.
