Job summary

NTT DATA, Inc. is seeking a GenAI engineering lead in Charlotte to translate business priorities into scalable AI solutions.

You will design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade GenAI systems using LLMs, RAG, and agentic patterns, partnering with CIO organizations. You will accelerate value through rapid prototyping, reusable components, and reference architectures, drive adoption of Azure AI and AWS Bedrock, and ensure security, governance, and observability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software/data/ML/AI solution development in enterprise environments.
• 5+ years Python and modern software practices.
• 3+ years building Generative AI / LLM apps, including prompt engineering and deployment.
• 3+ years RAG solution design with embeddings, vector search, and grounding.
• 2+ years agentic AI workflows using orchestration, APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• 3+ years cloud AI/ML platforms (Azure AI, AWS Bedrock).
• 3+ years cloud-native engineering (CI/CD, containers, observability, security).
• 2+ years technical enablement, architecture, leadership, mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead GenAI engineering efforts with CIO organization for scalable AI solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy production-grade GenAI using LLMs, RAG, and agentic patterns.
• Prototype, reuse components, and craft reference architectures for production use.
• Drive adoption of Azure AI, AWS Bedrock, and internal platforms with practical patterns.
• Design secure RAG and agentic workflows with documents, embeddings, and vector search.
• Ensure architecture, security, privacy, governance, observability, and production readiness.
• Deliver workshops and technical guidance on prompt engineering and platform usage.
• Create reusable documentation, playbooks, sample code, and liaise with AI platform teams.
