Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking an AI Architect in Charlotte, NC to design and lead enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI solutions. The role focuses on architecture, strategy, and production-ready implementations across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

You will work with data scientists, software developers, security teams, and business leaders to translate requirements into scalable, secure AI ecosystems and integration patterns. This is a hybrid, US-based role with a strong emphasis on governance and responsible AI.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software/enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years AI/ML, 3+ years Generative AI.
• Hands-on with Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
• 3+ years on one or more major cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong Python development experience.
• Experience with RAG, vector search, embeddings, and knowledge-retrieval.
• Experience integrating AI/LLM services via REST APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead AI and Generative AI architectures for enterprise apps.
• Define AI technology strategies, reference architectures, and roadmaps.
• Translate requirements into secure, scalable AI solutions.
• Evaluate models, platforms, and cloud services per needs.
• Establish patterns for scalability, reliability, security, and cost.
• Guide AI initiatives from PoC to production deployment.
