Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an experienced AI Architect to design and lead enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI initiatives in a hybrid Charlotte, NC role. The candidate will define architecture, technology strategy, and production-ready patterns, collaborating with data scientists, engineers, security, and business leaders to turn AI ideas into scalable solutions.

The role requires deep experience with LLMs, RAG, AI agents, and cloud integration across AWS/Azure/GCP, with strong Python and security

Qualifications

• 10+ years in software, technology, solution, or enterprise architecture.
• 5+ years designing and implementing AI/ML or advanced analytics solutions.
• 3+ years hands-on Generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
• 3+ years experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong Python development experience and familiarity with modern AI/ML frameworks.
• Hands-on experience designing RAG, vector search, embeddings, and knowledge-retrieval solutions.
• Experience with enterprise application integration, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead AI and Generative AI architectures for enterprise applications and business solutions.
• Define AI technology strategies, reference architectures, standards, and implementation roadmaps.
• Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, production-ready AI solutions.
• Evaluate AI models, platforms, frameworks, and cloud services based on requirements.
• Establish architecture patterns for scalability, reliability, performance, security, and cost efficiency.
• Guide AI initiatives from PoC through production implementations.
• Design REST API and service-integration patterns for AI/LLM capabilities.
