Job summary

Fitch Solutions seeks a Senior Gen AI Software Engineer in Chicago to drive production-grade AI platforms and agentic workflows. You will build scalable APIs (FastAPI), deploy cloud infrastructure on AWS/Azure, and collaborate across product and engineering teams to deliver enterprise-grade GenAI solutions.

You will lead design, evaluation of foundation models, and integration with existing product ecosystems while advancing cutting-edge AI capabilities in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

7+ years designing, developing and deploying production AI/ML systems.
5+ years in full-stack software engineering for enterprise apps.
Experience with GenAI, RAG, MCP, vector DBs and LLM integration.
Hands-on GenAI applications using LangChain/LangGraph.

Responsibilities

Lead the creation of enterprise GenAI solutions across multiple business units.
Design and implement GenAI/ML architectures and proofs-of-concept.
Build production APIs (FastAPI) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure).
Ensure scalable, reliable, enterprise-grade software and integration.
Collaborate with product, engineers and stakeholders to align with needs.
