Job summary

Fitch Group in Chicago is seeking a Full Stack-AI Engineer to join our External Application Development Chapter. You will contribute to building cloud-native applications, data pipelines, microservices, data visualizations and customer-facing web products.

Ideal candidates bring deep backend and frontend expertise, hands-on AI/ML experience, and a collaborative mindset to drive architecture, code quality, and DevSecOps practices across agile teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing and developing distributed application architecture.
• 7+ years of software engineering with backend focus (Java/Python).
• Experience building scalable backend services with Spring Boot or FastAPI.
• 5+ years building scalable web apps with React/TypeScript.
• Experience with microservices in cloud-native environments.
• Experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI-enabled GenAI applications using LangChain and LangGraph.
• Build and maintain microservices-based components for the application suite.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to design and develop applications/architecture.
• Work in an agile team focusing on design, development, debugging, and deployment.
• Ensure security, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility in deliverables.
