Job summary
Fitch Solutions is seeking a Software Engineer to lead GenAI system development in Chicago. You will design and deploy production-grade AI platforms, create enterprise chatbot capabilities, and advance model contexts and MCP implementations.
You will work across engineering and product teams to translate complex AI concepts into scalable, business‑ready solutions, leveraging FastAPI, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and cloud services. Hybrid in-office schedule in Chicago is required.
Qualifications
- 7+ years designing, developing, and deploying production‑grade AI/ML systems at scale.
- 5+ years in full stack software engineering for enterprise apps; strong Python backend skills.
- Proven experience with GenAI, RAG architectures, MCP, and AI‑enabled search in real‑time environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of sophisticated generative AI solutions including enterprise chatbot platforms and RAG architectures.
- Pioneer AI innovation through hands‑on engineering across cutting‑edge models and frameworks.
- Build enterprise‑scale APIs (FastAPI) and cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) for production readiness.
