Job summary

CD PROJEKT RED in Boston is seeking a QA Lead to manage a gameplay QA team on the Cyberpunk 2 project. You will translate the project QA strategy into clear team plans, priorities and measurable outcomes to ensure high-quality gameplay.

Collaborate with Production, Development, Tech, Shared Development Services, QA Experts and external vendors to improve QA workflows, reporting, and milestone verification across engine, tools, and platform validation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years leading QA teams with mentoring and career development.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, defect management, and QA reporting.
• Experience with game engines/editors, preferably Unreal Engine.
• Experience developing and executing testing strategies across game dev stages.
• Hands-on with QA investigations like performance profiling and crash debugging.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the gameplay QA team.
• Adapt Cyberpunk 2 QA strategy into actionable testing plans.
• Own testing execution and milestone verification.
• Monitor QA metrics and risk, and build mitigation plans.
• Collaborate with production, development, tech, and QA vendors.
• Provide transparent quality reporting for stakeholders.
• Drive QA workflow and tool optimizations.
• Support debugging and complex investigations.
