Job summary

Brillio in Boston, MA seeks a highly skilled Lead Full Stack Developer to drive design, development and delivery of cloud-native applications aligned to our Golden Path engineering stack. You will lead frontend, backend, cloud, and data layers with strong focus on scalability, reliability, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience
• Strong backend development in Go, Java, Python, or Node.js — APIs, microservices, distributed systems
• Relational and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, RDS, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis
• Strong AWS experience (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch) plus Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD (CircleCI)
• Experience with testing (unit, integration, API, UI) and observability/monitoring (Datadog, CloudWatch)
• Strong networking and security fundamentals; AI-assisted engineering tools; Agile/Scrum delivery

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade full-stack applications
• Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS with containerized platforms, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring
• Own features end to end—from design through deployment, production support, and continuous improvement
• Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, and code reviews; drive testing, security, observability, and performance
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and stakeholders
• Communicate decisions, risks, and trade-offs clearly across teams
