Job summary

Brillio is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer to drive design, development, and delivery of scalable cloud-native apps using React, TypeScript, Go/Java/Python/Node.js, and AWS. You will mentor engineers, influence architecture, and own end-to-end delivery while upholding security, performance, and reliability.

The role requires 8+ years of experience in full-stack development, strong backend skills, and hands-on AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD expertise in a hybrid Seattle environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent.
• 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
• Backend development in Go, Java, Python, or Node.js with APIs and microservices.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis).
• Strong AWS experience (ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch) plus Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CircleCI.
• Experience testing (Jest, Cypress) and observability (Datadog, CloudWatch).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools (Gemini, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot) and Agile/Scrum.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-grade full-stack applications.
• Architect cloud-native solutions on AWS with containers and CI/CD.
• Own features end to end from design to deployment and production support.
• Lead technical design reviews, code reviews, and drive testing, security, and performance.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with product managers and architects.
• Communicate decisions, risks, and trade-offs to stakeholders.
