Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Engineer to drive modernization and AI-enabled development within a modern application team. You will hands-on code, design architecture, and mentor others while shaping 40+ legacy modernization efforts and new AI-enabled initiatives.

The role requires deep expertise with React, Python, SQL, and Azure, plus experience guiding architecture decisions and delivering production-grade software through the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack development, including senior/lead-level hands-on work.
• Strong experience with React, Python, SQL, and modern web app development.
• Experience deploying applications in Microsoft Azure and making architecture/tech decisions.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain production applications using React/React Native frontend and Python backend.
• Remain hands-on with development, delivering production-quality code and complex solutions.
• Own end-to-end solutions from requirements to deployment and support.
• Develop new applications and capabilities aligned with evolving business needs.
• Write clean, scalable, secure, well-tested code and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Lead modernization efforts and AI-enabled development initiatives.
