Job summary

Jobot is seeking aSenior/Lead Software Engineer to drive AI-assisted development on a West Columbia, SC team. You will modernize ~40 legacy apps, architect cloud hosting on Azure, and build AI-enabled features with Claude Code/Claude CI. Expect hands-on coding and leadership in a fast-paced consulting setting.

The role emphasizes frontend React/React Native, Python backend, Azure SQL, and strong DevOps practices with modern pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional full-stack development, senior/lead level.
• Strong React, Python, SQL and Azure experience.
• Experience designing and deploying in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Experience with AI-enabled development tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain production apps with React/React Native frontend and Python backend.
• Own end-to-end solutions from requirements to deployment and support.
• Lead modernization of ~40 legacy apps and plan Azure hosting models.
• Develop AI-enabled features and integrate Claude Code/Claude CI into workflows.
• Build CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while remaining hands-on.
