Job summary

Target is seeking a Lead Full-Stack Engineer for Advanced AI to design, build, and maintain production‑grade AI-enabled applications that integrate into core business workflows. You will lead cross-functional teams and shape architectures, APIs, and user experiences.

The role requires strong product thinking, 5+ years of software engineering, and expertise in modern back- and frontend technologies. Hybrid work is supported, with on-site and remote collaboration as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering experience building and operating production applications.
• Strong experience building full-stack applications with frontend and backend components.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, and maintain full‑stack layers, services, APIs, and user experiences.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, product partners, and security teams to deliver scalable applications.
• Establish engineering practices across development, testing, deployment, observability, and documentation.
